Dr. Ke Xu is Executive Deputy General Manager of Shihua International Financial Information Co.Ltd. He will be responsible for product, sales and marketing.

Dr. Xu has eight years of experience in the financial information industry. Prior to joining Shihua in 2009, Dr. Xu worked in the R&D group of Bloomberg, a leading financial information provider, to develop commodity analytics since 2006 and was a member of the UBS-Bloomberg Constant Maturity Commodity Index (CMCI) Advisory Committee. From 2001 to 2005,Dr. Xu was a consultant of the Cambridge Market Analysis Corp.(Boston,USA) doing research on pattern-recognition of commodity markets and developing state-of-the-art real-time trading system based on their proprietary models.

Dr. Xu holds a Ph.D. degree from Northeastern University and a bachelor degree from Peking University. His research interests focus on pattern-recognition of market trading based on artificial intelligence, commodity and commodity derivatives, portfolio analysis, risk management and the application of econometrics.
