In 2001, Sino-I
Technology acquired Shihua Financial Information
and Mr. Yu led its transformation to a
leading financial information service
provider in China. Mr. Yu championed the

by making available financial information
and analysis based on international standards
to professionals in China’s financial
institutions and corporations. Through
a cutting edge information service platform,
Shihua embodies his vision to advance
a healthy and transparent financial information
sector, and continues to lead advances
in the financial information service sector.
In 2003, Mr.
Yu also acquired Xin Net and Beijing CCG
Technology Co.. Xin Net is a premium domain
name registration and virtual hosting
service provider in China. CCG provides
supply chain management and distribution
resources platform for advanced information
service providers.
In 2000, Mr.
Yu acquired Savoy Concepts Limited, (corporate
name has been changed to South Sea Holdings,
Inc.), and restructured its business focus
to property development and electronic
manufacturing development. The main property
projects are located in Shenzhen and Guangzhou.
In 1999, Mr.
Yu acquired China Enterprises (ASP) Limited
(corporate name changed to CE Dongli Technology
Group Co., Ltd under a new shareholding
restructure plan). With strategic vision,
CE underwent a successful restructure
to focus on enterprise application services.
Backed by innovation and with emphasis
on customer experience, CE’s pivotal strategy
has led to extraordinary rapid growth,
with 6000+ professionals and 60+ subsidiaries
nationwide, becoming the leading IT application
service provider in China.
In 1994, Mr.
Yu founded Chinese Television Network
(CTN), the first 24 hour global Chinese
satellite television news network. Launching
two channels, CTN pioneered 24 hour global
satellite information broadcast in Chinese
language.
In 1993, Mr.
Yu established an ISP, HKNet, the first
to give Chinese information a global and
Internet footprint.
In 1992, Mr.
Yu acquired Ming Pao Co. Ltd. (listed
on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong), and
founded Wuhan Cable TV System.
In 1989, Mr.
Yu acquired Acesite (Phils.) Hotel Corporation,
which was listed on the Philippine Stock
Exchange and owned the Manila Hilton. |
