Shihua to Deliver China’s Inter-bank Market Data in China
First Domestic Information Service Provider
Authorized by China Foreign Exchange Trade System


Shanghai, November 2, 2006 –China Foreign Exchange Trading System & National Inter-bank Funding Center (CFETS) and Shihua Financial Information have established a strategic alliance and entered into agreement for the provision of the Chinese inter-bank market data on the Shihua information service platform. CFETS is a subsidiary of the People’s Bank of China (PBoC). This alliance marks the first Chinese domestic financial information service provider to be authorized by the CFETS.

CFETS has authorized distribution of its Renminbi, foreign currency inter-bank data products to a domestic financial information service provider for the first time. As the only organization licensed to provide inter-bank foreign exchange trading service in China, CFETS has marked a new phase in financial innovation and further development of the financial market.

In authorizing Chinese inter-bank market data to Shihua, CFETS Vice President, Dou Jian Zhong said: This marks a constructive process in cooperation with domestic information service providers. Through Shihua Financial Information, more institutions and individuals will access CFETS data and information, contributing to the advancement of inter-bank data services.

As the first authorized information service provider in mainland China to distribute CFETS data, Shihua’s General Manager Cheng Chi-Hung said: Shihua Financial Information and CFETS strategic cooperation marks a new beginning for the legal distribution of inter-bank data. Through mutual cooperation, Shihua has customized a new product line, i-cube for bankers. About The China Foreign Exchange Trade System

The China Foreign Exchange Trade System (CFETS), founded in April 1994, is also known as the National Inter-bank Funding Center, a sub-institution of the People's Bank of China (PBoC).
